Establishment of Guru Virjanand Sangopang Veda Gurukulam
The Committee Arya Samaj Orphanage, Bareilly, founded by Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati, has formally resolved to establish the Guru Virjanand Sangopang Veda Gurukulam in Uttar Pradesh.
Aligned with the Third Principle of Arya Samaj—which mandates the study and propagation of the Vedas—the institution will provide compulsory Vedic education alongside modern disciplines like science, technology, and the arts. This initiative is officially affiliated with the Maharishi Sandipani Rashtriya Veda Vidya Pratishthan (Government of India).
To make Vedic knowledge accessible to the modern public, the Gurukulam will also offer short-term courses, such as “Mini Gurukul” sessions, designed to dispel misconceptions and promote the authentic teachings of the Vedas.
