Guru Virajanand Sangopang Veda Gurukulam operates under the esteemed guidance of its parent organization, The Committee Arya Samaj Orphanage, Bareilly, which was established by the revered visionary Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati.
"The Veda is the book of all true knowledge. It is the paramount duty of all Aryas to read them, to teach them, to hear them, and to read them to others." — The 3rd Rule of Arya Samaj.
Driven by this profound guiding principle, our Gurukulam was established to ensure that the timeless light of Vedic knowledge continues to illuminate the minds of future generations.
The 'Aarsh' System & Modern Education
We believe that true education nurtures the mind, body, and soul. Our curriculum is uniquely designed to seamlessly blend the ancient ‘Aarsh’ system of Vedic education with contemporary disciplines.

The beginning of Guru Virajanand Sangopang Veda Gurukulam
The organization Vishwa Ratna Sanstha – The Committee Arya Samaj Orphanage, Bareilly, established by Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati, in the General Assembly held on Sunday, 08/01/2023, Krishna Paksha Dwitiya, resolved the following:
Among the 10 principles of Arya Samaj established by Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati, the third principle states:
“The Vedas are the books of all true knowledge. It is the supreme duty of all Aryas to read, teach, listen to, and propagate the Vedas.”
For the fulfillment of the third objective, the Managing Committee of Arya Samaj Orphanage, Bareilly, under its rules and regulations, has resolved that the boys and girls being raised and nurtured by the committee shall be provided compulsory religious education of Arya Samaj.
The management committee will also arrange, as far as possible, education in crafts, arts, commerce, technical fields, science, music, etc. However, giving priority to the teachings of Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati, it has been made mandatory to study and teach the traditional Vedic system of learning and the true form of the Vedas.
Keeping in view the needs of the present time, it has been decided to connect with the Veda Department of the Government of India, namely:
Maharshi Sandipani Rashtriya Veda Vidya Pratishthan
Maharshi Sandipani National Veda Sanskrit Education Board, Ujjain (Government of India)
Under this framework, it has been decided to establish Guru Virjanand Sangopang Veda Gurukulam, Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh.
Along with this, arrangements are also being made to remove misconceptions about the Vedas among the general public and to help people understand the true divine message of the Vedas.
